Inspiration - Alana Goldmann

Alana Goldmann is my inspiration for this project. I really like her style and all of her photographs are really strong.

Hand Inspiration.

I really like the message of this picture and how it is conveyed.



I like the colors in this picture and just the simplicity of it.

For my photo, I am going to try to have to hands reaching out to each other, connected with ribbon that is stiched into their wrists using photoshop.

Conceptual.





Studio Lighting: Butterfly.

This is an example of butterfly lighting because she has a shadow under her nose and chin.

Studio Lighting: Split.

This is an example of split lighting, where half of the face is lit and the other half is not.

Pinhole #2: Portrait.

This was a 25 second exposure outside on a somewhat partly cloudy day.

Pinhole #1: Indoor Environment.

This pinhole shot was a 30 minute exposure inside. It's a fairly good positive with a good range of whites and blacks. I feel like it came out pretty sucessfully and there's not much I would change about it.
